Wordle is a toy for
generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater
prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text, appearing
larger the more they are used. I think that this shows emphasis. You can tweak
your clouds
with different
fonts, layouts, and color schemes. Its really quite good fun and I think can be
adapted academically. For example, I put in our school mission statements and
this is what I got.
